Brigid Cleary – Founder, Owner & Managing Director

Brigid has worked in the Financial Services and Banking Industries for over 26 years. She has a strong track record in the delivery of comprehensive and professional advice in all areas of financial planning and finance.

Having worked in both Ireland and the UK as a licensed and regulated Independent Financial Adviser and Finance Manager her varied experience has equipped her with a thorough understanding of all areas of Financial Planning, International asset risk review, due diligence and strategic consultancy services for investment banks, hedge funds, originators, servicers and investors throughout Europe.

Brigid presents in a way that is professional and inspires confidence. With a positive influence she gains consent by using researched backed and factual information, she is a collaborative and constructive solution provider with strong leadership ability and excellent organisational & planning skills.

David Taylor – Non Executive Director

David has worked in Finance and Banking for 46 years. David established Friends First Finance Limited in 1997 having left the BOI Group after 24 years of service in various sales and managerial roles and latterly as Chief Operations Director of Bank of Ireland Finance, the asset finance arm of the group.

David developed and built a highly successful and competitive asset finance and lending company catering or SME Professional Bodies and farming sectors.

Prior to the closing of the business in 2009 due to the wholesale funding crisis he and his team built a loan portfolio of 980m, providing a return on equity of over 20% for the shareholders for the last 3 years of operation.

David expertise and skill within the Financial Markets lends exceptional expertise to the Cedar Wealth Management team.
